George Carlin

Sat Jun 28, 2008, 10:22 AM
One of my biggest heros. He died June 22, 2008, and lord knows he will be sorly missed. He was not my hero because he was funny, or clever, or so insanly right about everything he said, but because he had the guts to say it. He knew how important speech was, and how sad it was to see people hold their tongue in situations where their opion should have been heard. He knew the importance of life, and how short it was, and how it needed to be lived to it's fullest, without a hit of regret lining the edges.
A truly great man.

A little late, but a couple days ago, a bad man died. Huzzah for bad men dieing. It puts a big 'huzzah for bad people dieing' grin on my face. Good- Bye Jerry Falwell, we won't miss you.
